    The medical profession has lost credibility. The majority have abandoned their oaths. Statins are harmful and forcing lower serum cholesterol doesn't actually prevent heart attacks.

    I have Lipoedema I'm stage2, I have been lowcarb for 9 months. I'm fat adapted and eat 1 or 2 meals a day. Overight fast is usually more than 14 hours. I keep my Carbs<20g every day. My weight loss has stalled, what do you recommend I do to get it back on track?

    Get your vitamins from food? Not with big Agra. They have stripped the soil of nutrients and there’s little nutritional value unless you are able to get organic food.

    I love your straightforward talk. Sometimes wish you were more personable and perhaps had higher production values in your video, but it wouldn't go with your no nonsense speaking. I think I've understood and what is happening within my body with your help and I'm sure I'm not as strict as your diet, but I limit my carbs to 20-50 a day I am an example of what you are saying, I had lost 50 pounds before needing to have my upper teeth removed for a hip operation. Not many proteins/fats to eat that are soft enough for sore gums. I gained 20 pounds in the 3 months while my gums receded, ate half a loaf of bread a day with peanut butter. Now that I can chew/gnaw I'm back to low carb still 20-50 a day and intermittent fasting 20 pounds gone in 6 weeks. Since I had cut back to low carbs before I went to intermittent fasting it wasn't very hard. For me I wanted a carb load that I could stick with. Today onion and peppers in my eggs, maybe a trace in the ounce of cheese none in the ounce of sausage, 2-3 pickles, a handful of blue berries, and some peanut butter 2 tbsps., plus maybe 5-10 carbs in the seasoning on pork steaks at dinner. Likely near my upper limit today.

    Humanity know exactly what our diet needs are. We are losing our rights to grow, and raise our own food because greedy corporations want profit over people! We need to fight back against all the laws and rules that hurt the smaller farms and independent farms. People wake up and look at your state and is it running for tje people living in it or for the corporations???

    Instead of we are what we eat maybe it was supposed to have been eat what you are. So humans need protein, minerals, water and sun. I know I always feel better when eating mostly animal protein and less fake food. Instead of attacking each other of our choices we should focus on what means more for humanity as a whole! Fight for our rights to grow and raise our own food. Fight against the big corporations that keep us dependent on them amd them alone. Why are we not speaking more on the fact that we have people right now trying to block our sun!

    I had an issue with coffee and ended up in the emergency room thinking I was having a heart attack. It turns out I was having symptoms of Gerd. Keeping me overnight they found my heart was perfectly fine. Turns out it was the coffee. Who discovered this? The woman that sold me my coffee when she asked how much I was drinking. I was drinking coffee all day long. Her advice? Cut down on the coffee, make sure they are Arabica beans, and use medium roast. Was it the caffeine? No, she said. If it's Gerd's symptoms, it's the acid in the coffee. I cut down to 2 cups in the morning and have been fine. So that expensive hospital couldn't ask the right questions, but a woman that sells coffee could. BTW, coffee contains potassium. I'm thinking about cutting coffee completely because it's hurting my wallet more than my health.

    This is so short sighted and while insightful for some is not true for all. Kudos for recognzing that for some, these can be trigger foods but folks not all of us are the same and often metabolically respond quite differently to fats and carbs. Many of us do quite poorly on low carb, though I respect that it may work for some. I would refer to the RESPECT study done out of the UK and validated by Mass General showing through clinical blood draws and tests the massive difference in responding to carbs and fats. We are not all the same. Personalized medicine please and focus on individual metabolic measures.

    So I understand the following : ◾that LDL is the transporter of cholesterol to the tissues/cells and ◾that HDL is the transport of cholesterol from the tissues back to the liver for excretion in bile synthesis? ◾that 80% of the cholesterol is made by our own bodies from carbohydrates/protein/triglycerides(fats). ◾that [chole]sterol is essential to life on this planet situated a 'goldilocks distance' from its sun. ◾that organisms with cell/s with genetic material in a nucleus need sterols. [ergo]sterol for fungi, [phyto]sterols for plants, *[chole]sterols for animals (us). * chole means bile/gall ❓What i don't really understand is why cholesterol ,one of the ancient self-regulatory systems on the planet ,found in microorganisms like phyto-and zooplankton and known to be regulated by a negative feedback communcation, has now it seems to have stopped self-regulating in growing percentage of the population of the developed western world? SELF-REGULATION OF CHOLESTEROL? If we look at the negative feedback system then the body needs to somehow 'check' to see if its cholesterol requirement is being met - so where does it need to check? ◾The bloodsteam sure - but this is only a small portion of the cholesterol being transported to tissue (cells,) and inside the cells or part of the cell membranes themselves, perhaps? ◾So let imagine, that for some reason, very little of what the body is making is actually getting into the cells. Let just say because there are too few LDL receptors maybe. ❓Would the body not continue to call for more cholesterol to be made? My reasoning would be, that If essential workers were 'on the way' to their workplace and only a few ever reached their destination would the hospital administrator not keep looking for /employing more staff? ❓How do we know for sure that the body is not self-regulating if we only test the bloodstream( for cholesterol transporters LDL, HDL)? ❓What is happening inside the tissue/cells ❓Can we test for this or at least test to see if there are enough LDL receptors to move the LD from the bloodsteam (transport route) into the cells/tissues where it is needed. 🌞There is one hormone / vitamin that modulates/regulates the expression of LDL receptors, HDL transporters and can limit cholesterol production and not many of us know or check its levels.

    I love the carnivore diet but seem to suffer insomnia on a pure meat diet. However, I feel amazing on it and would love to only eat meat. I have to add in a baked potato every evening which improves my sleep. Is there any other solution I can do other than the potato? I know some say just eat butter but that didn't work for me. ( I still feel really good on my current diet as most of my energy intake is meat but would like to not have to eat carbohydrates as I mainly crave beef).

    I think people adapting to a "Keto diet" would avoid issues/keto flu if the started a low carb diet for a week or 2 first. I was and had little problem even little hunger (though sedate) going to a 6:18 intermittent fasting.

    With 600 mcg of K2 Mk7 and 6000iu of vitamin D daily, I reversed my carotid block from 60% to 30% in 1 year. The angiologist was shocked 😲 😅 Now I'm down to 400 mcg and 4000ui. Dr Berg is right 👍🏻

    *THIS IS THE WAY I UNDERSTAND IT, CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG.* For more than 200,000 generations humanoids were hyper carnivores and apex predators. They evolved with a stomach PH of 2 (highly acidic), eyes facing forward in the skull like all carnivores, and sharp, pointy canine teeth. They became so proficient at killing they drove most large land mammals like the Mastodon and Wolly Mammoth into extinction about 12,000 years ago. It was only after this happened that humans ever ate a vegetable to keep from starving to death. Humans began farming about 600 generations ago. Processed foods have only been around for 20 generations, and vegetable oils have only been around for 10 generations. For 3 million years humans never ate carbohydrates at all except a few berries in the Spring and Fall. 300,000 years ago there was 9 species of humanoids living on Earth. 30,000 years ago there were only 3. In order to determine the proper human diet one must figure out what man has eaten for his entire existence, and fatty red meat was a large part of it. Maybe in another 10,000 generations humans will evolve to utilize carbohydrates, processed foods, and vegetable oils but right now they can't.

    I’m 66yo and adding muscle weight back and again after adding resistance/crossfit to my daily 4mi trail run. How much difference to muscle loss does high protein make if I were to lose some of the 15lb I’ve put on. 10%, 30%, 80% ?… how much difference does high protein (140g) make VS moderate protein (80g) I’m plant based, and it is hard to add protein without also adding complex carbs .. btw: I have no problem with complex carbs as my a1c is 4.9% insulin between. 3 and 6, ldlc around 65, but, my waist has increased by 1/2” due to AB growth

    Vitamin C is water soluble excess is released by your kidneys. Vitamins D is not, it builds up.

    I think before anyone starts taking vitamen supplements, they should check the vitamens level. The only 2 I would take blind are vitamen D and fish oil supplements.

    These studies are designed to add to our knowledge of nutrition and aging. Surely they are not designed to help us figure out what to eat. Happens all the time! It is fodder for social media views and sales of supplements, so wrong to jump to conclusions without so much more data specifically related to humans.

    I really would have wanted my doctor to tell me low carb diet can fiks you’re high blood pressure, no instead she gave me medication. I started low carb to feel better and after a few weeks I was able to quit my high blood pressure medication ❤ in 4 months lost 16 kilos. My mind is more clear I feel better than I ever did. No cravings anymore for sweet things. I’m not food addicted anymore.love the video ❤

    Just looking at food preferences for our flight to Singapore on Saturday. It had a huge list but no low carb category. Food for thought here. 👋🏻🇦🇺

      Fast for the flight. I regularly take 10-15 hour flights and don’t eat anything. Also, you can bring food with you.
